Dublin Hurling champions Ballyboden St. Endas have lost their Leinster semi final today to Carlow champions, Mount Leinster Rangers.

It ended in Dr. Cullen Park, Mount Leinster Rangers 1-17, Ballyboden 3-9. A two point win for the Carlow champions.

Two first half goals from Gavin Corrigan and Conor McCormack looked to have the Dublin Champions in the driving seat, but the Carlow side always stayed within touching distance, only going into the break 2 points down.

The turning point came in the 49th minute when Paul Ryan missed a penalty, and the Carlow Champs went down the other end and scored a goal to take the lead.

Boden goalkeeper Gary Maguire then saw a straight red with just 6 minutes to go, and Mt. Leinster Rangers decided to just take a point to give them a four point lead.

It proved to be a smart decision, as Paul Ryan scored a late goal to cut the lead to two points, but Niall McMarrow missed their last chance in injury time, as the Dublin side hopes of All Ireland glory, came to an end.

Mount Leinster Rangers will now play Oulart-The-Ballagh of Wexford.
