Belgium came back from the dead to beat Algeria 2-1 in this opening Group H game in the World Cup.

And the manager can claim the credit with two of his super subs getting on the scoresheet.

Firstly the Man U midfielder Marouane Fellaini was sprung from the bench to head home the equaliser.

And then another sub Dries Mertens lashed home the winner with ten minutes to go.

Algeria had taken the lead in the first half through a Sofiane Feghouli penalty following a foul by the Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen.
