Dubliner Becky Lynch claimed the first ever WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship last night.
The Best Sports Person winner at 98FM’s Best of Dublin awards earlier this year won a Six-Pack Challenge at the WWE Backlash event in Virginia overnight.
Up against Nikki Bella, Natalya, Carmella, Naomi and Alexa Bliss in the challenge, she locked Carmella into a Disarm-Her for the win.

Lynch has now earned the right to headline the SmackDown women's division as the champion.
