There is more bad news for international athletics this morning, with the news that the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) is set to lose its biggest sponsor.
Reports suggest Adidas are to end their 11-year deal with the athletics' world governing body four years earlier than planned.
It’s believed to be a direct result of the doping scandal in the sport that has dominated headlines in recent months, with a WADA report revealing "state sponsored" doping in Russia.
It's thought lawyers for Adidas have contacted the organisation, as they bid to end their agreement.
It’s expected the loss of their biggest sponsor will result in the loss of tens of millions of dollars in lost income to the IAAF.
