Gardaí are investigating after a man presented himself to a hospital in the west of the city after being shot, but then left.
At around 7 o'clock this morning he arrived at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown with a gunshot wound to his leg.
Gardaí are trying to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident.
