Investigations are underway after 700 thousand euro worth of herbal cannabis was seized at Dublin Airport.
It comes after Revenue officers searched the baggage of a passenger who was on a flight coming from Montreal, Canada.
A man in his 20s was arrested and taken to a Dublin Garda Station where he is currently being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
This seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the importation of illegal drugs.
