Met Eireann Issues Rain Warning For Dublin

A rain warning has been issued for Dublin, Kildare, Louth, Wicklow and Meath.

The status yellow alert came into effect at 8am and will remain in place until 9pm.

Met Eireann says spells of heavy rain are forecast with a risk of spot flooding.

There'll be highs of 9 to 11 degrees in Dublin today Light westerly breezes will veer north to northeast this morning and will gradually freshen this afternoon.

Tonight is expected to be mostly cloudy with more showery rain. Lows of 4 to 7 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty northerly winds.

 

Tuesday

Rain will clear tomorrow morning to leave a dry and cloudy day in the city. Top temperatures of 10 or 11 degrees.

National Forecast For The Week

Met Eireann says that low pressure will continue to dominate the weather this week, with rain or showers at times.

Temperatures are expected to be colder than average from midweek.
