Scientists believe women are more likely to die after heart attack treatment than men.
Experts say it may be because women tend to be older when they suffer the complication and are also more likely to have diabetes.
The study, presented at the European Society of Cardiology Congress in London, looked at more than 11-thousand cases in Paris.
