A woman has been hospitalised following an alleged assault in Ranelagh.
It happened in the early hours of this morning.
Mount Pleasant Park in Ranelagh remains sealed off this afternooon following the alleged assault which appened at around 1am
The woman was taken to hospital, where she remains today.
It is not clear how many people were involved or if the woman was on her own at the time.
No arrests have yet been made and the Garda Crime Investigation unit remain at the scene this afternoon looking into the matter.
