A woman has been injured after a water protest in Swords last night.
The woman was hit by glass at the offices of Fingal Co. Council.
There were ugly scenes at the monthly meeting last evening after a small group of water protesters had gathered outside the offices.
Gardai were present but a group of four demonstrators managed to get past them.
While officers were trying to remove protesters from the building, a glass revolving door shattered and the woman was hit by glass.
She received a cut to her face and can be seen bleeding heavily.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics and gardai say an investigation has been launched.
