Gardai are investigating an aggravated burglary in the north inner city.
A woman in her late forties was held at gunpoint.
The violent robbery happened in broad daylight on Tuesday.
Shortly after midday two men forced their way into a home on Greek Street and held a gun to the head of a woman in her late 40s.
They escaped with a large sum of cash but it's not known in which direction they fled.
The woman was badly shaken but wasn't seriously injured.
