Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a fatal crash in the west of the city.
A woman in her 30s died in the collision overnight.
This single crash happened at the junction of the Nangor Road and Ring Road at around 4.30am.
A 31 year old woman was seriously injured when her car hit a lamp post.
She was rushed to Tallaght Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardai have closed the outer ring road between the Baldonnell Road turn-off and the junction of the Nangor Rd, so forensic teams can examine the scene.
Any witnesses are being asked to contact Clondalkin Garda Station.
