The city's equivalent of Abbey Road studios is opening its doors to the public.

Windmill Lane in Ringsend has launched its visitor experience, where music lovers will be given guided tours around the historic building.

People will also be able to see music being recorded.

Windmill Lane Director, Tony Perry says many famous artists have recorded there:

He says "The Spice Girls to Kylie Minogue to ACDC to Metallica. Riverdance was recorded here, some wonderful film scores and beautiful orchestral recordings. The Rolling Stones and obviously Windmill Lane has a deep association with U2, so we've had U2 in Windmill Lane on and off over many many years".
