The National Lottery says the jackpot on Wednesday will be the second highest of the year.
It's heading for a massive €9m.
The last jackpot was won on Wednesday July 5th, after a syndicate from the north-east won €6.4m.
In last Saturday's draw, 34 players were just one number away from winning the €8.2m jackpot.
The current jackpot has been rolling for almost seven weeks.
Lotto is advising players to buy their tickets early.
