Don't put away those winter woollies just yet... despite the fact that May is only a few days away - and the beautiful weather we've been having over the past few days - we're expected to be hit with a brief cold spell.
According to Met Eireann, temperatures will drop to a very chilly minus four in some parts tonight, with plenty of frost expected.
Tomorrow will be a very cold day, with wintry showers in the west and northwest.
Meterologist Gerry Murphy from Met Eireann says freezing conditions at this time of year are unusual, but not unheard of:
