Four people have died after the strongest storm to hit Britain in a decade.

Two people have been killed by a gas explosion caused by falling trees in Hounslow in south west London.

Another has passed away after a tree fell on a car in Watford.

17-year-old Bethany Freeman has also died in Kent after the static caravan she was sleeping in was crushed by a tree.

More than a quarter of a million homes remain without power in the UK.

The weather's affected dozens of flights including some routes from Ireland to the UK.
