Gardai are investigating two shootings in Clondalkin at the weekend.
Officers are trying to determine if the two incidents are linked.
The first incident took place on Saturday night when a man in his 20s was shot in he arm at St Cuthberts road.
The victim was taken to Tallaght hospital but his injuries are not life threatening.
The second shooting took place last night when a 25 year old man was shot in the leg in Melrose avenue in Clondalkin.
He was also taken to Tallaght hospital.
Gardai are investigating if that incident was a case of mistaken identify and if the two cases are linked.
