Two men remain in custody after they were arrested in connection with death of a man in Athy, Co.Kildare last week.
The men, both in their 20s, were detained in the town yesterday afternoon.
Father of one, 34 year old David Boland, was stabbed on Duke Street in Athy nine days ago.
He was taken to hospital following the attack but died from his injuries.
The two men arrested yesterday in Athy are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
They are being questioned at Kildare and Newbridge Garda Stations.
So far 4 people have been arrested in connection with the case.
Last weekend, a 20-year-old man appeared in court charged with the murder of David Boland.
Another man in his late 20s was also questioned but later released without charge.
