Two men have been arrested following separate drugs and assets seizures across Dublin yesterday.

The searches were carried out on both the north and southside.

Northside

After 2:30 yesterday afternoon Gardaí in the J District (Raheny, Clontarf and Howth), searched a house in the Balmayne Area.

Gardaí say the search was a result of an investigation into the sale and supply of drugs locally.

€14,110 euro in cash was seized along with a Volkswagen Golf worth over €40,000.

€2,000 in designer clothes and shoes and a gold bracelet worth €4,500 was also uncovered with a weighing scales and a phone.

A man in his 20s was arrested and released without charge, with a file being prepared for the DPP.

Southside

Separately, Gardaí searched a house on the Kildare Road in Crumlin after 9pm last night.

Regular units from Sundrive Road and Crumlin, the Garda Dog Unit and the Crumlin Drugs Unit found €87,000 worth of suspected cocaine and €48,000 worth of suspected cannabis.
