A landlord and his lodger have appeared in court in connection with a massive drugs seizure in North Dublin.
Over two million euro worth of cannabis was seized at a house in Donaghmede over the weekend.
Gardai raided a house at Donaghmede Park and found 300 kilos of cannabis resin worth over 2 million euro.Two men were arrested following the find.
Today, 52 year old Declan Cosgrave from Donaghmede Park appeared before the Dublin District Court. He has been charged with the possession of cannabis resin worth around 2.1 million euro for sale or supply.
His 25 year old tenant Kevin Murphy who is originally from Mount Clive Park in Kilbarrack, was charged with possessing 3 thousand euro worth of cannabis herb.
Both men were remanded in custody with consent to bail and are due back in court later this month.
