Gardai are examining a car located in Co Westmeath as part of the investigation into two missing Dublin men.
The silver Ford Focus believed to be the car used by the men was discovered in Mullingar this morning.
Meanwhile a major search operation is continuing in Co Cavan to locate Eoin O'Connor and Anthony Keegan.
Dozens of Gardai resumed their search operation in the Ballyjamesduff area this morning.
They are being backed up by the Garda helicopter.
The men aged 32 and 33 were reported missing by their families on Wednesday after they became concerned for their welfare.
Gardaí are also seriously concerned for the safety of the two men.
They had travelled with a group to Cavan on Tuesday.
