Gardai have arrested two people in connection with a number of robberies on the south side.
The man and woman, who are both in their twenties, were picked up at 7 this morning when Gardai searched a number of locations in Dun Laoghaire, Booterstown and Blackrock.
The operation was part of an ongoing investigation into criminal gangs carrying out burglaries on the southside..
A number of weapons including machetes and pepper spray, a large quantity of jewellery, computer parts, electrical items and garden tools were also recovered during the searches.
The man is being questioned at Blackrock garda station while the woman is due before the District Court later.
