Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a well-known gangland criminal in Drimnagh.
40-year-old Christopher Zambra was shot dead outside his sister's house five months ago.
At 3PM on May 4th, Christopher Zambra's Audi A4 was boxed in by a jeep and another car outside his sister's home at Cooley Road in Drimnagh.
A masked gunman fired several shots into the driver's side of his car.
A wounded Zambra managed to scramble out through the passenger side and tried to make his escape.
The gunman gave chase and shot him at point blank range in the head and chest after he stumbled into a nearby garden.
As part of the investigation into Zambra's murder, two men aged 40 and 27 were arrested in Dublin this morning.
They've been taken to separate Garda Stations where they can be held for up to seven days.
