Tributes Pour In For Gerry Conlon

Tributes have been pouring in for Gerry Conlon of the Guildford Four.

The 60 year old passed away at his West Belfast home yesterday - he'd been suffering from Cancer for some time.

Mr Conlon was one of those wrongly convicted of the IRA bombing at a pub in Guildford in 1974 during which five people died.

The group served 15 years in prison, before their convictions were overturned in 1989.

Their jailing was one of the biggest miscarriages of justice in British history and their fight for justice formed the basis of the 1993 film In the Name of the Father, starring Daniel Day Lewis.
