The woman who wrote To Kill A Mockingbird has died.
Harper Lee was 89. Lee was born April 28th, 1926, in Monroeville, Alabama and was the youngest of four children.
She suffered a stroke in 2007.
The literary classic, "To Kill a Mockingbird", in 1960. It's been studied by millions of school students around the world.
A follow up was published 55 years later in July last year called "Go Set a Watchman".
