Thousands Turn Out For Water Protest

One of the largest protests against Irish water and water charges has taken place in Dublin today.

Opposition politicians and community groups demanded the abolition of the controversial state utility and the bills that go with it.

Organisers say the turnout was close to 100,000 people.

Marchers gathered at Heuston and Connolly stations from 2pm and congregated at O'Connell Street.

These people say the government must go because it doesn't represent the people:
