Those killed in Ukraine plane crash honored in Dublin candlelit vigil

A pro-Russian leader says fighters will "guarantee the safety of international experts" at the site of the Malaysia Airlines plane crash if Ukraine agrees to a ceasefire.

Western leaders are urging the two sides to do more to allow full access.

Pro-Russian rebels are believed to have shot down the plane on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Ceremonies are being held across the world today to remember the 298 people who died in the disaster.

Here in Ireland a candlelight vigil will take place in Dublin city centre at 1:30 this afternoon outside the European Parliament Information offices.

Among the dead is Dublin woman Edel Mahady who was en route to Australia.

Her family released a statement yesterday saying that she wouldn't want anybody 'wasting their time' hating those responsible for the crash.

Dublin Lord Mayor, Christy Burke, commented on the humility of the statement-
