It may not have been a white Christmas but there was snow in Dublin overnight.
The Sally Gap in the Wicklow Mountains was closed due to heavy snowfall while Kildare, Carlow and Wexford also saw some of the white stuff, however most of it didn't stick.

Following the cold weather overnight drivers are being warned to beware of ice on the roads this morning.
