6,000 people will be participating in a very colourful race along Dun Laoghaire's wets pier in Dublin this afternoon.
The 5k Rainbow Run run will see people of all ages and abilities being doused from head to toe with coloured powder paint, as they run, jog, or walk along the seaside route.
The good news is that the powder used is a non-toxic, natural corn-starch based product that doesn't stain hair or cause injury, and does wash off clothing.
