The LÉ Eithne will arrive back in Ireland today.  

It's been at sea for two months, rescuing migrants in the Mediterranean.

It was involved in over 22 operations and saved 3,376 people.

The families of the crew will be in Co. Cork this morning to welcome them home, along with Defence Minister Simon Coveney.

Lieutenant Eric Timon from the Irish Naval Service says the mission has been a great success:
