A strike by staff at 70 Tesco stores across the country has been called off, after the company agreed to go back into talks.
Workers are angry at plans to change conditions and cut some wages by up to 35%.
In a statement, Mandate said the union and Tesco "have agreed that no hostilities between the parties will take place until those procedures have been fully exhausted."
Staff members should report for work as rostered tomorrow.
In a statement, Tesco said it had accepted "an invitation... to attend a fifth conciliation meeting on Friday".
