Gardaí are hunting two men who hijacked a taxi in The Curragh, County Kildare this morning.
The taxi-driver, a man in his 60s, was en route from Kildare town to Newbridge when he was robbed by two male passengers shortly after 3:30am.
The men stole his phone and wallet and ordered him out of the taxi - he was uninjured.
Gardaí want to speak to any witnesses who may have seen the silver-coloured Toyota Camry taxi, with the partial registration 04D.
The two men are in their early 20s with strong Dublin accents.
One was believed to be armed with a handgun.
