Protests are expected to kick off following calls to relocate a popular taxi rank in Temple Bar.
The Temple Bar Company which represents businesses in the area, has claimed taxi drivers use the rank at Foster Place as a place to rest and even urinate.
But Jim Waldron of the National Private Hire and Taxi Association, says that's not the case.
We are very disappointed because anywhere there's been a taxi rang there's been less anti social behaviour from the time the taxi rank has been placed there.
We are also very disspaonted that The Temple Bar Company never consulted us while they were carrying out any observations as we could have cooperated with them."
