Gardai are questioning a man in his 20s after a taxi driver was hijacked in Crumlin last night.
This taxi driver picked up a man in Crumlin just before 3am and was asked to drive to Dolphins Barn.
A few minutes later the driver was ordered to pull over, and he felt what he believed to be a gun against his head.
He was ordered out of his cab and the passenger took his keys and sped off in the car.
Gardai were alerted and they found the taxi on the Kylmore Road in Ballyfermot.
A man in his 20s was arrested near the scene and he’s been brought to Sundrive Road Garda Station for questioning.
