Syria's main opposition group will meet with the UN's peace envoy in Geneva today.
However, doubts remain whether the High Negotiations Committee will participate fully in the negotiations.
Member of the HNC, Riad Nassane Agha has said: “Now we have opened a new chapter. We have come here as the international will requires. We shall seek peace and a political solution according to new standards.”
They're pressing for an end to air strikes and urgent humanitarian aid for people in towns across Syria.
