Irish fortunes have reached record levels, according to this year's Sunday Times Rich List.

It shows the combined wealth of the richest 250 people is up by 15.9% since last year.

The total wealth of the 250 richest individuals and families across Ireland is now 75.03 billion euro - that's up 13.4% on 2008, at the end of the Celtic Tiger boom.

There are now a record 13 euro billionaires, worth a total of 37.89 billion euro.

Dr Colm Murphy compiled the rich list, which looks at the richest people in Ireland and Great Britain.

Len Blavatnik - the owner of Warner Music - tops the list this year, with a fortune of 13 billion pounds.

Top of the Irish Rich List are Hilary and Alanah Weston, who represent the Dublin side of the family who control Brown Thomas, Selfridge, Primark, and Penneys.

Harry Potter author JK Rowling comes in at 193rd place with 580 million pounds.

Simon Cowell is all the way down at 313th place - although he still has 325 million pounds to his name.

Sir Elton John has 270 million pounds, Posh and Becks have 240 million, Jamie Oliver hits the list with 180 million, Calvin Harris has 70 million in the bank, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has 69 million pounds, Rory McIlroy is worth 38 million, while the One Directioners have 25 million each to their name.
