Two care assistants, who work at the Royal Hospital in Donnybrook, said they were “shocked and upset” that a nurse there ordered a decongestant in their names without their permission.
They were giving evidence at a fitness to practise inquiry into John Benedict De Lara, a former nurse at the hospital, who’s alleged to have ordered Sudafed using other staff names in May 2013.
Mr. De Lara is also alleged to have crystal meth in his possession in 2014.
One witness, Edwin Palaez said he was on holidays in the Philippines at the time when the pharmacist received the order in his name.
