Students Raise €178,000 For Homeless Charities

The boys from Belvedere College in Dublin have raised a whopping €178,000 during their 48 hour Christmas sleepout and fast outside the GPO.

The event aims to raise awareness of homelessness and collect money for the Peter McVerry Trust, Focus Ireland and Home Again.

The sleepout has been an annual event for the past 30 years, raising more than €1 million for homeless charities since it began.
