An orange weather warning will come into effect at 10 this morning in counties Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.

There's also a yellow wind warning for Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Roscommon, Tipperary and Waterford and a yellow weather warning for all counties on the south and west coasts. 

Strong winds of up to 110 kilometers per hour are expected.

The peak of the storm will be in the evening and will be at its strongest along the coast. 

 Meanwhile, The Road Safety Authority is warning drivers to take care extra care and to beware of fallen debris and strong crosswinds on roads.
