A secondary school in Stillorgan has cancelled a student talk on gay bullying just half an hour before it was due to start.
ShoutOut says Coláiste Eoin told it that the board of the school felt "both sides" should be represented at the workshop.
The school - which has hosted a number of those type of workshops in previous years - says it stands by its decision.
Eoin O'Liatháin from ShoutOut says they simply wanted to explain to students that every human being should be respected.
The founder of the youth group pointed out that they were not there to talk to pupils about the upcoming marriage equality referendum.
