30 per cent of young men aged 17-24 have admitted to accepting a lift from a drunk driver.
The survey for AA motor insurance questioned 15,000 people nationwide.
On a county level, the highest number of people who'd traveled with a driver they knew had consumed alcohol, was in Wicklow, followed by Louth, Kilkenny, Longford, and Meath.

He's urging people to stay safe when traveling to and from events this summer.
