One in five offers of social housing in Dublin were turned down.
That's according to new figures in the Irish Independent, which show almost a third of social housing offers around the country are rejected.
Nearly half are turned down in Cork and Waterford.
Some of the reasons given for saying to include lack of access to schools, or because the family didn't like the area or the house.
