You've heard of smart phones, watches and TVs and now there's smart clothes.

Wearable technology is on display in Dublin including clobber that measures emotions and physical responses.

Developers say it will be good for monitoring people's health as well as behaviour.

Imagine a future where your dress tells you you’ve had one too many, or a helmet that can measure concussion, according to Intel, we’re already there.

As part of the Lifelogging exhibition at Trinity's Science Gallery, wearable technology is taking centre stage.

Vice President of the Internet of Things at Intel Philip Moyna says hooking up things to the internet will be life-changing..

He added that he was recently at a football match in the US where wearable technology measured concussion.

Also on display at the Science Gallery is a Spider Smart Dress that uses sensors to tell people when they’re getting too close to the wearer.

The technology works by the spiders legs extending to warn predators off.

It could come in handy on a night out.
