Sinn Féin has drawn level to Fine Gael for the first time in the popularity stakes, according to a poll in today's Sunday Business Post.
Both parties are on 22 per cent, after Enda Kenny's party fell by four points and Sinn Féin rose two points.
Fianna Fáil are unchanged on 18 per cent; Labour are also static on eight per cent.
The poll was taken after much of the detail had emerged about the government's new water charges regime.
