Police in London say they've found no evidence of shots being fired in the Oxford Street area.
They had responded "as if the incident is terrorist related", with armed and unarmed officers.
People were told to stay inside, and a number of nearby Tube stations were closed.
British Transport Police officers and the London Fire Brigade were also involved in the alert.
