Several Irish Missing In Nepal After Earthquake

The death toll from the earthquake in Nepal is expected to rise significantly as the rescue and relief effort is hampered by poor infrastructure and communications.

More than 4-thousand bodies have been recovered after the massive quake that hit the country last Saturday.

Over a hundred climbers are believed to be stranded on Mount Everest and they are being air-lifted two at a time by helicopter.

Many tourists visit Nepal and countries are trying to locate their missing nationals.

A small number of Irish citizens are still unaccounted for.
