A new app has been launched for tourists to discover parts of the city’s history and culture.
The Dublin Discovery Trails are self-guided walking tours that cover four events in Dublin’s history.
The events include the Easter Rising, the First World War, British Rule and even the history of the city itself.
The app was launched by the Transport Minister Paschal Donohoe and Lord Mayor Christy Burke earlier today.
Discovery Trails are connected to the Dubline, which is a tourist trail already developed by Fáilte Ireland and Dublin City Council.
The app can be downloaded for free on IOS and Android devices.
