For the second time in less than a week, a piece of street art created ahead of next month's marriage equality referendum has been vandalised in Dublin.
Last weekend, Joe Caslin's mural on the corner of George's Street was egged just hours after being erected.
This morning, it was noted that another mural in support of marriage equality has been defaced.
The piece, by Jess Tobin, makes up part of a larger piece of street art beside the Bernard Shaw pub.
Meanwhile, BeLongTo has released a video calling on people to encourage their family to vote yes on May 22nd.
A spokesperson from the gay rights group said that they hope the ad "will demonstrate to older generations just how strongly young people feel about marriage equality."
Michael Barron said "I think the ad will resonate with older generations too. In the past, it was a common experience for LGBT people to feel they were better off leaving home and moving to other parts of the country to live."
"I hope it will encourage people who have moved away from home to reconnect with their families and loved ones and encourage them to go out and vote ‘yes’", he added.
