The Rolling Stones are being linked with plans to hold a fourth concert at Croke Park this year.
Aiken Promotions is to apply for permission to hold a show at the stadium despite opposition from residents.
Taylor Swift is already booked to play two nights in June, while Michael Bublé will perform one night in July.
Papers today report the Stones are set to announce a tour in the coming weeks, with an Irish date scheduled.
In the wake of the Garth Brooks debacle in 2014 a deal brokered by the then Labour Relations Chief, Kieran Mulvey, recommended that only nine concerts should be held at Croker in 2017, 2018 and 2019 with an average of three a year.
“There may be a maximum of four concerts in any one year but in this situation there cannot be more than three nights in succession and the overall total of nine cannot be exceeded”
Yesterday, however, the head of the Clonliffe and Croke Park Residents Association told 98FM News that holding extra events was a nuisance and "enough is enough."
