Dublin teenager Ricky Osagie, who drowned after jumping in to a pond to save another teenager, will be laid to rest today.
13 year old Osagie was swimming with two girls in a lake near the Waterville Hall Complex in Blanchardstown last Friday evening when all three got into difficulty.
The teenagers were rushed to Temple Street Children's Hospital where Osagie spent the night in the Intensive Care Unit and lost his fight for life the following morning.
The popular boy was a talented footballer with local football team Corduff FC and was being scouted by a number of other clubs.
His funeral will be held at 11am at Mulhuddart Cemetery in Dublin.
